The company’s managing Director Ian Sword, establishes his first business Sword Reinforcing Ltd.
This company specialised in the supply of operatives to fix reinforcement rebar in heavy civil engineering projects. Over the years, the Company expanded to include formwork supply and fixing and placement of concrete.
1994
To give emphasis to the varied services Sword Construction Limited was formed.
Sword Construction Ltd went on to establish a reputation second to none, this reputation and resulting repeat business, allowed further expansion.
2005
The Company as it is today, Sword Construction UK Limited, was formed to manage all the services offered, under one Company.
2007
Sword’s Director Ian Sword establishes Jacal Construction Equipment Plant Hire offering the purchase or hire of plant and Construction Equipment.
2012
Sword Construction UK Limited continues to develop, and in addition to the services already being offered the Company now undertake groundworks and associated drainage works.
